DORCAS MINISTRY
"A woman who was a follower lived in the city of Joppa. Her name was Tabitha, or Dorcas. She did many good things and many acts of kindness."
Acts 9:36
The Dorcas Ministry at the Colorado Indonesian American Seventh-day Adventist (CIASDA) Church is dedicated to providing compassionate service and support to those in need within our church and the broader community. Inspired by the biblical example of Dorcas (also known as Tabitha), who was known for her acts of kindness and charity, our ministry focuses on practical ways to demonstrate God's love.
Through various outreach programs, such as food drives, clothing distributions, and assistance to the elderly and disadvantaged, we aim to meet the physical and emotional needs of individuals and families. We are committed to offering our time, skills, and resources to make a positive impact and bring hope to those facing challenges.
The Dorcas Ministry also collaborates with other church ministries and community organizations to maximize our efforts and reach as many people as possible. By serving others with compassion and humility, we strive to reflect Christ's love and make a meaningful difference in our community.
